Code P0113 — Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input

The P0113 code is triggered when the ECM detects a high voltage signal (above 4.91 volts typically) from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. The IAT sensor measures the temperature of air entering the intake manifold. A high voltage usually indicates an open circuit in the sensor or wiring, causing the ECM to read an unrealistically cold temperature.
