1. Check requirements first

Match your Windows version, interface adapter and cable against the product page before downloading. Most failures come from skipped requirements.

2. Disable antivirus during install

Diagnostic keygens and patched loaders trigger false positives. Pause real-time protection, install, add the program folder as an exclusion, then re-enable it.

3. Run as administrator

Right-click the installer and choose Run as administrator. Install to the default path unless the manual says otherwise.

4. Connect the interface only when asked

Keep USB adapters unplugged until the driver step. For VMs, attach the USB device to the guest via the VMware/VirtualBox USB menu.
